Overnight Postpartum Doula Care
Rest easy knowing baby is well cared for.
There is nothing like a good night’s sleep! I offer the “night shift” postpartum doula services so that you and your partner can get much needed rest. Generally, I arrive at 10 pm and leave at 6 am. I will tend to your baby’s every need so that you can relax and sleep soundly with the knowledge that your newborn is being well-cared for.
Overnight care with a postpartum doula:
The first weeks with baby can be exhausting, and babies inevitably have their own sleep schedule. Between learning the ropes of baby care and feeding, household chores, and basic self-care, very little time is left for you as new parents to get the sleep you need.
We will work together to plan a strategy for what will work best for you, your partner, and your baby. Since baby's needs are 24 hours a day, I offer the same postpartum doula care at night as I do in the day. A rocker or chair near the baby is sufficient for rest for me. I am there to serve you and your family and will take a rest if the situation permits.
Overnight postpartum doula care allows you to get the rest you need to better care for your baby during the day.
My role as your overnight postpartum doula:
My services will vary each day with your unique needs, but there are core elements of overnight newborn care that are nearly always present:
